How much are PLDT Home’s Cordless Telsets?

Prime Cordless (red phone) is available for only P129 per month for 24 months with FREE delivery, while Premium cordless (black phone) is priced at only P99 per month for 24 months with P150 delivery fee charged to your next bill.

How can I avail the Cordless Telset offers?

  • Existing PLDT subscribers can just visit: https://pldthome.com/landline-telsets or call 171 to avail of the telset offers. For convenience, availed devices can be delivered within 2-3 days within Metro Manila and 5-7 days outside Metro Manila from confirmation of order. 
  • For the Premium Cordless Telset, a delivery fee of P150 shall be charged per transaction. This will also be charged to your next bill.

How do I install and operate these devices?

Installation of these devices is via Do-it-Yourself (DIY). You just need to:

  1. Connect the telephone line cord (RJ11) and power supply to the base unit.
  2. Plug in the power supply to a power outlet.
  3. Insert the batteries provided with the wireless handset.
  4. Power on the handset, a dial tone shall signify the availability of the unit for use.

How long is the warranty period and whom do I contact for aftersales servicing?

All cordless telsets are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. PLDT representatives in the retail stores can assist you, should you have issues using the telset. You can also visit https://pldthome.com/support-landline-troubleshooting for more troubleshooting tips.

Up to how many cordless telset units can I avail?

The PLDT agent who will process your order will inform you of the maximum number of Home Security Device units you can avail of.

Why is it that Prime Cordless has no delivery fee while Premium Cordless has P150 delivery fee?

The FREE delivery and P129/month offer for Prime Cordless (red phone) is a special offer to new availers while stocks are still available. On the other hand, Premium Cordless (black phone) is our newest model that comes with a delivery fee of P150 nationwide.

My handset does not ring when called.

Please follow these simple steps to troubleshoot your cordless phone:

  1. Check if the telephone line cord (RJ11) is connected directly and properly to the Base unit.
  2. Check if the Base unit has power.
  3. Check the Ring Volume Setting. This should not be at the “OFF” position.
  4. Check for Dial Tone.
  5. Check if you have a good connection with the Base unit.

My handset has no dial tone/I can't hear anything on the handset earpiece.

Please follow these simple steps to troubleshoot your cordless phone:

  1. Check if the telephone line cord (RJ11) is connected directly and properly to the Base unit.
  2. Check the RJ11 for corrosion.
  3. Check the handset keypad for moisture that may have caused a short circuit.
  4. Check the handset keypad for any button that is stuck in the “PRESSED” position.
  5. If connected via modem-phone splitter, answering machine, fax machine or PABX, disconnect from this and connect the unit directly to the main line.
  6. Check if you have a good connection with the Base unit

What’s the range of the cordless telset?

The cordless telset unit’s indoor range can reach up to 50 meters from the base. However, range may be reduced within the home due to obstructions such as interior walls or dividers, and the presence of interference.
